We have build in bilge heaters in our 46' Chris Craft but this was the boose we needed for low temps

I have temperature sensors in the bilge that stayed above freezing in zero degree f weather but our domestic water pump and the ac pumps froze during one very cold snap. By adding this little plug in heater the temperatures stayed safely warm and gave me peace of mind. It moves just enough air to circulate the heat. I'm very pleased.

    Solid Product!!!

A solidly and well-built product with ease of operation. I purchased this unit to replace a prior Xtreme Heater that the fan motor had failed on, this one seems to be operating properly. We’ll see how it does over the years. Customer service while I was trying to figure out what to do about my failed heater was exceptional.

I am very happy with the heater this winter when the temperatures fell down to -8 degrees the temp under my house was 45-50 degrees. 12x 60 x 2

    Old to New/Bait and Switch?

This is my 3rd heater. I called regarding one heater that stopped working. The heat was coming on but the fan was not working to push the heat out. When I called I explained what happened. You asked for some serial #'s to find out the year it was made. After telling me the age of the unit you told me to go online fill out a return form and mail it to you and you would fix it and ship it back to me. So I boxed it up and shipped it back for a cost of $50. Waited to hear back. After 3 weeks called to see the status of the heater. Was told you have only 1 person that works on returns and will get to it within the week. That was fine by me, I understand there will be a wait time for parts and repairs. Also I believe the individual became ill shortly after that. A few weeks go by and was told you will have someone look at it that day and get back, which they did shortly after that. I was then told my HEATER WAS TO OLD TO WORK ON and unable to replace the fan due to the age. But, I now have an option to order a brand new heater at a discounted price. At this point I need a heater and have no other options after I was told to ship it back to get fixed and then now told it cannot be fixed? So I chose to go with the larger heater knowing that if I have issues with the other heater I have, YOU will no longer be able to work on please advise us in the future that your heaters have an expiration date. This way we can save a few bucks and make better decisions in the future. Thank you.

    Piece of Mind

Bought this heater to extend my camping season into the winter without needing to use my propane furnace to keep the plumbing from freezing. I'm a weekend warrior type camper so the trailer sits unattended Monday through Friday. Previous years I'd have to set the thermostat to 50 degrees to keep the water lines and tanks from freezing and stay on top of my propane levels. With this (800 watt) heater now installed in the underbelly all I have to do is plug it in. It turns itself on at 40 degrees and off at 55 and has no problem maintaining temps well above freezing. Wish I would've bought this sooner.
