Purchased an Xtreme Heater from West Marine in Nashville and installed it on my Chaparral 233 Sunesta before the frost hit Tennessee in order to delay or refrain from winterizing the boat and extending the boating season. When the temperature dropped below forty degrees Fahrenheit it was soon obvious that the thermostat was malfunctioning.
With the temperature set to drop in two days to its lowest level (in the teens) in many years I was very concerned to say the least. So I called the factory and to my surprise Steve, the owner, answered the phone. He was concerned as well and he told me to keep the unit I had and he would overnight a new one. And he did. This is very unusual in today's world.
