This Bayfield 25 sloop is located in the Chesapeake area. Engine compartment space is always at a premium on sailing vessels. The only location this owner found involved mounting his Xtreme Heater upside-down.
While we suggest mounting our heaters lower in the bilge, this is because heat rises, and it can be more efficient. IN this case, the heater is dropped down a bit into the engine space, which helps with air circulation. Xtreme Heaters can be mounted in any orientation.
